Science Olympiad (STEM) (Since 1982 w/ a grassroots assembly of science teachers)
Middle & HS:
High School:
Google Science Fair: Online science competition open to students ages 13-18 from around the globe. Top prize: $50,000 scholarship.
Siemens Competition in Math, Science and Technology: Top prize: $100,000 scholarship.
Junior Science and Humanities Symposia (JSHS): Regional winners proceed to a national competition.

International BioGENEius Challenge: State, regional, international events.Top prize: $7,500 cash award.
Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF): HS only, must first qualify at an affiliated fair. Top prize: $50,000 scholarship.
After HS:
Intel Science Talent Search (Intel STS): HS seniors. Top prize: $100,000 scholarship.
SPARK applications can be in one of two categories: ideation or prototype and can address any or multiple areas of science. Entrants must be over 18 years old and legal residents of the United States or U.S. citizens temporarily living abroad
